Museum & Heritage Experience

I have been privileged to manage three internationally important museums in England:

Dr Jenner's House Birthplace of Vaccination in Gloucestershire; Kelmscott Manor in Oxfordshire, the former home of Arts & Crafts Pioneer, William Morris; and Fishbourne Roman Palace, Britain's largest Roman home in Britain & Britain's oldest planted gardens located in West Sussex.

I am an experienced curator, for example, I worked at Historic Royal Palaces as a curator for over ten years in the Works of Art department covering Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace, the Banqueting House, and HM Tower of London. During this time I managed a three-year cataloguing project encompassing the entire palaces' collections of fine and decorative arts, and architectural and archaeological artefacts. I also became the Lead Curator on a major exhibition utilising 8 years of my research.

I have also worked for the Royal Collection Trust covering Buckingham Palace; The Royal Mews London; Clarence House; The Queen's Gallery London; Windsor Castle; Palace of Holyrood, Scotland; and The Queen's Gallery, Holyrood.

In 2014-2015 I was appointed Trustee of The Cheltenham Trust: The Wilson – Gloucestershire’s premier Art Gallery and Museum, Cheltenham Town Hall, Pittville Pump Room, Leisure at Cheltenham and the Prince of Wales Stadium. I stepped down due to relocation.
